Strange as it may sound, the central Australian desert is filled with colour, varying from season to season. All of the magnificent paintings in this exhibition were created in the desert. Painted on Country by local artists living and also working in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands and the Spinifex Lands. These colourful paintings span fifteen years and celebrate the living desert as a home.
